Rotary Youth Speakers National Final - President Kennedy School Wins Two Trophies!

The President Kennedy School team were delighted to be awarded the third place nationally for their overall speeches and were presented with an impressive trophy at the end of the day.

Three year 7 President Kennedy School students, Esha Gupta, Harry Gilsenan and Mya Birdee have been competing in the Rotary Youth Speaks public speaking competition in recent months. They have done fabulously well, winning the local, district and regional rounds leading them into the national final held on Saturday 7th of May. Our students represented the entire West Midlands and South Wales region and competed against other teams aged 11-13 from around the country. The students, once again, performed with confidence under huge pressure at this very formal occasion.

The President Kennedy School team were delighted to be awarded the third place nationally for their overall speeches and were presented with an impressive trophy at the end of the day.

Students, relatives and friends erupted when the judges announced that Eesha Gupta had won the individual public speaking award for her ‘Vote of Thanks’.  A fantastic result for Esha and President Kennedy School! She too, was presented with a trophy marking her outstanding achievement.
