Steve Toor, Interim CEO  

Previously Deputy Headteacher at President Kennedy School with a remit on standards, curriculum, assessment and teaching and learning, attuned to deliverer school improvement. Steve is a curriculum planning specialist and has helped many schools realise their potential through curriculum redesign. Steve works alongside Headteachers to align business and educational structures to ensure best possible outcomes for students in the most affordable way. He has developed solutions that link curriculum planning to financial planning, and which provide real time affordability KPIs. This has helped realise substantial

savings and enabled secondary and primary schools to secure their financial position whilst delivering outcomes for students.


Chris Jupp, Interim Deputy CEO

Headteacher, Barr’s Hill School having moved the schools from ‘floor’ to ‘Good’ in 11 months. In 2 years, progress 8 at Barr’s Hill moved from -0.49 to +0.68. Chris specialises in developing powerful leaders, transforming behaviour and enrichment in schools and has extensive experience of implementing the primary-secondary transition model, including leadership of The Bridge. Prior to this, Chris spent 8 years experience working on school improvement and educational transformational change projects within President Kennedy School. He has undertaken Ofsted inspection training and will soon be available for inspection. 


Julie Bircher, School Improvement Lead

Julie is an SLE, a SSIF consultant and engaged by the Local Authority as a teaching and learning consultant. She is heavily in demand for improving student engagement in the classroom. Julie works with schools to identify and implement improvements in all aspects of teaching and learning. Julie works with schools in many geographical areas of the Midlands. Julie is a former Senior Leader of President Kennedy School.


Elaine Hart, Trust Finance Director

Elaine is a fully qualified management accountant (CIMA) and joined the trust’s central team in 2020. Elaine specialises in financial modelling and all aspects of finance associated with new projects, planning and budget preparation across the trust. Elaine works closely with Steve Toor, Deputy CEO - Education, to deliver high quality financial analysis which underpins the trust’s highly effective but affordable school improvement model.


Victoria Hastie, Trust People and Operations Director

Victoria has worked in various private and public sector organisations and has experience of leading change at a strategic and organisational level. She has managed large scale projects, change initiatives and service reviews. She has worked in various policy, commissioning and contract management roles. Victoria works closely with Steve and Chris to ensure the People Strategy is aligned with the Trust's overarching five-year strategy. 

 


Olan Adeyemi, Trust ICT Director

PRINCE2 and ITIL qualified, Olan holds a First-class Honours degree in Computing and Information Technology from The Open University. Olan has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry in various private and public sector organisations. Over the years, he has worked in ICT project management roles leading on several ICT projects. Some of these include network/systems designs and implementation, domain migration, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration. In his current role, Olan is working with relevant functions within the Trust to facilitate the automation of repetitive business processes. In addition, he reviews the Trust’s ICT related contracts to ensure best value and cost-effectiveness. Since joining the Trust, Olan has provided strategic leadership in ICT and successfully led major Trust-wide IT projects, making ICT a strategic enabler of transformation across the Trust.


Nigel Broom, Estates Technical Director 

Nigel has extensive experience in estates, project management, buildings, and facilities management. He has worked within private and public sector organisations at Jaguar Land Rover, Peugeot Citroen and at Coventry City Council within Building & Consultancy Services. Nigel’s qualifications include BEng Hons in Engineering, NEBOSH qualifications and is a member of the IWFM. Nigel is responsible for creation and implementation of the Estates strategy and since having joined the Trust has led on numerous estates, building services and construction projects funded under DFE CIF, SCA and UCS schemes. As well as responsibility for the commissioning and work of architects and contractors, Nigel manages the safety and maintenance of all trust buildings and land. 


Julieanne Morton, Head of Financial Planning

With a BA Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance, Julieanne is a fully qualified management accountant (CIMA). Julieanne joined the Trust in 2017 and specialises in budget preparation across the Trust, working closely with Headteachers and Steve Toor, Deputy CEO.

 


Sharon Jeromson, Commerce & Risk Manager

Having worked for a Local Authority for 14 years in Education Finance, Sharon has extensive knowledge in budget setting, monitoring and forecasting for primary schools before moving to work as a School Business Manager. Since joining the Trust in 2018, Sharon has supported the schools through GDPR compliance, managing risks in schools, establishing contract registers within each school, supporting schools with insurance claims and specialises in budget preparation across the primary schools, working closely with each Headteacher.

 


Tracey Galland, Executive PA & Company Secretary

Tracey has over 15 years’ experience of senior level PA administration in both private and public sector organisations. In addition to providing dedicated PA support to the CEO, Tracey, who is ICSA qualified in Academy Governance, supports governance across the Trust; facilitating and clerking all Trust Board and Committee meetings, with oversight of Local Governing Bodies.
